YOUR WORKSPACE · 3 min read
Your records, in your hands.
A practical explanation of the information Threadbook uses and how you can keep a copy.
Information in your workspace
Threadbook stores your account email and the shop information you enter. Your workspace can contain customer names, phone numbers, preferences, measurements, orders and payment records. Only enter information you need to manage your tailoring work.
Access to shop records
The application links each shop to its owner account and uses database access rules to separate shop records. The current release provides one owner login per shop. Tailor assignment names do not grant login access.
Services that help Threadbook work
Cloudflare hosts the website and app. Supabase provides account sign-in and the shop database. Resend delivers account emails. Razorpay is the provider configured for Premium membership payments when checkout is available. The public marketing website has no advertising tracker or analytics script added by Threadbook. Hosting providers may process request information to deliver and protect the service.
Passwords and card details
Use the account forms to create or reset a password. Do not put passwords, OTPs or card details in customer notes, payment notes or support messages. Threadbook’s shop payment records hold amounts, dates and payment methods; they are not a place to store customer card details.
Take a copy with you
Both plans include a manual JSON backup download in Shop settings. Premium adds order CSV export. Keep downloaded files private because they can contain customer information. A backup restore is supported only into an empty shop, within the current import limits.
When your plan changes
After Premium expires, your existing records, payment recording and JSON backup downloads remain available. New records are subject to the Free plan limits. There is no self-service account or record deletion workflow in the current release.
