YOUR FIRST DAY WITH THREADBOOK

A fresh start.
A familiar workflow.

Create your shop, add a customer and book your first order. Here is how the pieces fit together.

01

Create your owner account

Open Start free, enter your email and choose a password of at least twelve characters. Open the confirmation email in the same browser, then sign in.

No payment card is needed.
02

Set up your shop

Give your shop a name. Open Shop settings to add your address, phone, default measurement unit and tailor names. Your shop details appear on printed order slips.

Enter tailor names separated by commas. Free includes two.
03

Add a customer and save their fit

Go to Customers → Add customer. Then open Measurements → New measurement, choose the customer and garment, and save the measurements under a memorable profile name.

Use inches or centimetres. Keep different fits as separate profiles.
04

Book the order

Choose New order. Add the garment, quantity, price, due date, assigned tailor, measurement profile and fabric notes. Record any booking advance, then save.

The order stores a copy of its selected measurements.
05

Follow the work and record the balance

Update the order stage as work progresses. Use delivery filters to plan the day. Record later collections in Payments, print the order slip when needed, and mark the piece Delivered when it is collected.

Download a JSON backup from Shop settings regularly.
