Payments & reports
Track collections, outstanding balances and business totals.
Record a collection
Open Payments → Record payment. Select an order with an outstanding balance, enter the amount and date, choose the payment method and save. You are recording a payment received outside Threadbook.
Understand the balance
The order total is quantity multiplied by stitching price. The amount left to collect is that total minus all recorded payments. Threadbook rejects a collection that would exceed the order total. Check the amount and date carefully: recorded payment entries cannot currently be edited or deleted in the app.
Separate collections from your subscription
The Payments workspace is for money your shop receives from its customers. Plans & billing is for your own Threadbook Premium membership. These are separate records.
Use Premium reports
Open Reports and choose a start and end date. Booked sales use the order date; collections use the payment date. Review garment performance and tailor workload for the same period. Reports and order CSV exports are included with Premium.
Export your orders
On Premium, open Orders → Export to download a CSV of your orders. Both plans also include a JSON backup in Shop settings, covering the complete workspace records.
